This wind is also known as the (Black) South Easter. It is called the Cape doctor, as it blows around Cape Town. It is a strong South East wind from the Indian ocean, which is why it sometimes is called a South Easter. It is a seasonal wind, it blows only at the beginning of the Summer season.
